Packages
Packages are complete (prepared) monitoring packages for a system or an application. Packages can be downloaded and installed on the OpenPavilion server. If you want to monitor a MySQL-database for example, a MySQL-Package will contain example dashboards for monitoring the MySQL-database. You eventually will have to change some parameters (e.g. login, password etc. of your database), but after that you should be able to have a ready-to-run monitoring tool for your database.
Packages typically contain:

- dummy users and groups
- dummy timetables and calendars
- sensors
- agents
- dashboards

Download and Installation of packages
A package is a ZIP-file containing an amount of asset files, which must be unpacked into the application folders of your OpenPavilion server.
